Training
Our preferred delivery method for training is online, as sessions are recorded and the media files hosted for future user review if required. We can provide face to face training if required. Training sessions are provided in manageable topic segments and are tailored to the needs of the client and of course relevant to the intended application of our solutions.
Recommend Training Schedule: -
RSM InTime - suggested online delivery, 3-4 x 2hr slots ideally spanning over as shorter period as possible (e.g. 1 week).
InPay - suggested online delivery, 1-2 x 2hr slots ideally spanning over as shorter period as possible. (e.g. 3 days)
Twinfield - Is delivered onsite only over 2 days.
Online training is delivered via Microsoft Teams and will be recorded and uploaded to our RSM Client Portal. An account will be created for you to download the recordings. We can work around your training requirements if different to above.

Standard InPay Training Agenda Overview
Setup
What are the Company Details? Configure under Company->Details. This also includes configuration for Apprenticeship Levy.
What are the pay Elements required for this company in InPAY? These need to be set up up in this InPAY company as required under Company->Pay Elements. Once complete please confirm to me the Pay elements relevant to the timesheets in RSM InTime and I will synchronise these to RSM InTime for you. There are default Pay Elements setup and I’d usually synchronise Basic, Overtime and Expenses Reimbursement (for expense claims only) but please add additional and rename any as required.
What payrolls are required? Weekly, Monthly etc? What do you wish the payroll code and name to be? This is setup under Payroll->Payrolls.
What are the payroll period dates for each payroll? The years periods can be generated under Payroll->Pay Periods, choose the payroll (created above) and click “Generate”, enter the parameters.
What period do you want the payroll in (i.e. to start)? Put it in the period using the Payroll->Payroll Processing screen, choose the payroll choose the period. Note: Choose the period you want to parallel for now
What Tax district is the client in? Configure under Company->Tax Districts,
What are their HMRC transmission parameters.? Configure under Company->HMRC Transmission Parameters,
What BACS formats are required? Configure under Company->BACS Parameters
What Court Details are require? Configure under Company->Court Details (if required)
What Pensions do they have? Configure under Company->Pensions.
What Holiday Scheme do they have? Add Holiday Scheme under Company->Holiday Schemes.
Processing
Check new starters have synchronized to payroll
Check Tax code bank details and NI table letter on InPay & enter if required
Enter Tax information, P45 or new employee declaration on the P46 screen (RTI Requirement)
Ensure Hours worked is completed and irregular payment indicator (RTI Requirement)
Attach employee to holiday scheme if applicable
Auto Enrolment
Retrieve HMRC notices and apply, check any rejections (Student Loan Notices?)
Export timesheets
Ensure all timesheets successfully exported – any rejections contact support
Enter any manual adjustments i.e. deductions / advances / Holidays etc
Run payroll reports for validation of data
Make any adjustments if required
Run amended reports (if above point required)
Check Payment Method i.e. if BACS Bank details have been imported or If Cheque no bank details are present
Generate BACS file and download (if applicable)
Generate RTI submissions and cross check to payroll reports (link BACS file if a BACS client for hashtag references)
Submit RTI submissions (if rejects amend affected records and repeat point 14)
Commit payroll into next payment period
