Usage

Company SSP schedules are used to define the normal working days for your employees for the purposes of paying statutory sick pay. You set up as many SSP schedules as you need on this page and then select an SSP schedule for each employee. SSP Schedules are used by InPay Payroll to calculate the days when statutory sick pay is payable.

Note: The reason that there are SSP schedules as well as work schedules is that on rare occasions they may differ although in reality they normally mirror each other.

Creating an SSP Schedule

To create a new schedule, press 'New' to clear any existing data then enter a description so you can refer to the schedule. Select the days of the week that are normally worked and press 'Save'. The new schedule will appear in the grid.

Amending an SSP Schedule

To edit an existing schedule, select it in the grid by clicking on it. The data will appear in the boxes for amendment. Make the changes and press 'Save'.

Deleting an SSP Schedule

To delete a schedule select it in the grid and press 'Delete'.

Multi Week Schedule

Multi week schedules can be created by ticking the 'Multi Week' tick-box. You will then see the "Add Week" button that allows you to add weeks to your schedule.

Change the order of the weeks by clicking and dragging the icon to the left of the week.

Click on the bin icon next to any week that you want to remove from the schedule.
