Maintaining Consultants
- From the menu bar, click Profiles > Consultants.
- The list of consultants is displayed.
Administrators can see all consultants. Consultants with the Read-All Consultant role can see all consultants.
Who can create a consultant?
Only existing Administrators with the Create Consultant role can create additional Consultants.
Who can modify an existing consultant?
Only Administrators with the Write Consultant role can edit existing Consultants.
How do I add a new consultant?
- From the list of consultants, click Create.
- On the Create Consultant screen, in the Main Details area, add the name, address and other contact details for the consultant.
Tip: For each area of this screen, click the blue question marks against each field if you need clarification of what that field requires. Most are self-explanatory. Fields marked with * are mandatory.
- Choose a role level if you wish to restrict the menu options that are available for this Consultant. If you do not select a role level, the consultant will have the standard Consultant menus. For more information, see Controlling Menu Options.
- Click Save.
What do I do when a Consultant leaves?
After a consultant leaves your agency you will wish to deny access to RSM InTime to that Consultant. This can be done by removing the Allow Login role from the user. Locate the consultant from the Profiles>Consultant menu and then click on the Change Roles tab under the Edit button.
Un-tick the Allow Login box and then click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
If you have not already done so, you may want to update all placements where this consultant is either the primary consultant on a placement or a split commission consultant. This would typically be done in your front-office system or manually by /wiki/spaces/ds/pages/51871937.
