Entering timesheets
You may have the requirement to enter timesheets for your role. If this has been enabled you will see the option in the top menu bar. If you have made an error with your timesheet and it has not been submitted you can speak to your manager who will reject the timesheet. Alternatively if it has been approved your admin/HR team will need to unlock the timesheet for you.
The timesheet will automatically default to the current week. If you need to change the week commencing click in the date field and a calendar will appear. If you wish to view
Rate - There is always be a default rate showing. You can use the dropdown to select a different rate.
Adding another rate - If you need to add an additional rate click on the blue cross and then use the dropdown to select a different rate. If you wish to remove a rate click on the blue cross.
Times - Depending on the set up you may be required to enter your start time, break (the duration of the break), and finish time. This will auto-populate the hours worked. This is a 24 hour clock format.
You may only need to enter the hours, whereby you will have one field and will enter how many hours you worked.
Other dropdowns - You may be required to select dropdowns such as client and locations. The dropdowns options will be there for you to open and select the appropriate option.
Comment - this is a free text box that allows you to enter a comment.
You have the ability to save as draft, this allows you to return to the timesheet at a later stage to complete. To return to a draft timesheet, click timesheet in the top menu it will automatically show you the current week's timesheet. If its a previous week's timesheet simply select this in the date field.
When you have completed your timesheet click save and submit. The banner at the top will become green and the status will say submitted. You will no longer be able to make changes to this.
Rejected timesheets
If your timesheet is rejected you will receive an email advising you it has been rejected. The timesheet becomes a draft again, with a orange not submitted banner, allowing you to make your changes. Select the required week commencing date to view the timesheet. The fields will shown the hours you entered, make the required changes by either over keying the information or removing/adding lines. When ready click save and submit.
Approved timesheets
While you will receive a notification email to advise your timesheet has been approved, you can view your timesheets by selecting the required week commencing date. You will see the green approved banner, the timesheet will be locked and you will not be able to make any changes.
