Employee appraisals
As an employee you will be required to fill out your appraisal within People Manager. You will receive an email advising that you line manager has reviewed your appraisal. Once you have completed your sections this will automatically go to your line manager to complete and sign off.
Log into People Manager, on the lefthand side of your homepage you will see a widget called appraisal. Click on the date to open the appraisal.
Objectives
Click on add new objective, you will get 2 boxes appear allowing you to add the name of the objective and the criteria for a successful completion. The date field below will automatically default to the next appraisal date, click on this and change the date if required. If you wish to remove the objective click delete. If your manager has created any objectives these will be shown within this page as well and you will have the ability to add comments to these as well. Scroll down and click save and continue when ready.
Company Values
Within the company value screen you can add comments next to each one regarding how you feel you have worked against those values. If a manager has already added comments these will show in the free text box as well. Once ready scroll to the bottom of the screen and click save and continue.
Review previous objectives
If you have had a previous appraisal, you will be able to comment against the previous objectives to show how you have progressed.
Peer review
You can ask your colleagues to provide feedback. Click on request feedback.
Type the name of the person you wish to request feedback from, when you start typing the system will show you names to select from. You can add as many names as you like, a list will start populating in top pending feedback requests panel. When ready click send feedback request message(s). Those employees will get a request to provide feedback for you via email, and you will return to the screen above, click continue to move to the next section.
Any feedback that has been given will show on the peer review page as below.
Client testimonial
To add client testimonials, click add new testimonial. Enter the client's name and the feedback in the 2 free text boxes. You can attach supporting documents if you wish. If you have added this is error, click on delete. Scroll up and down the testimonial page using the scroll bar at the side. Any testimonials already added by your manager will be shown on this page, and you can add to these as well. When you are ready click save and continue at the bottom of the screen.
Learning and development
You may have the ability to add training courses via MyHR. Alternatively these may be recorded by Admins on your record. These will be shown in the training courses panel. You can add comments in the top text box about training or additional training details. When done click on save and continue.
Outcome and rating
You can enter your overview statement at any stage during the appraisal period and use the save draft button to continue to save your comments. You can see that the manager's overview is greyed out along with the rating and career progressions. Depending on how your company hold appraisals, your manager may have already entered details here for you to see, or they may wait until you have submitted your details. When you have completed your appraisal, and are ready, click submit to manager. This will send the appraisal details to your line manager to finalise your appraisal, your line manager will get an email alert to advised you have submitted this.
