Notes

Usage

  • Date of Transfer: The date that the employee changed payroll.
  • Transfer to Payroll: The new payroll for the employee.
  • Transfer to Holiday Scheme: The new holiday scheme for the employee. This is only visible when the employee has a holiday scheme, Holiday schemes are configured by pay frequency and as such the scheme may require changing if the pay frequency is changed. This will not be required if the worker is on an hourly scheme as these scheme types are pay frequency agnostic.
  • Transfer to Workgroup: The new workgroup for the employee.

Moving an Employee

Select the employee from the search bar. Enter the date of transfer, and the new payroll and/or the new workgroup. If changing payroll, a new holiday scheme may also be selected. Press save to commit the data to the database.

Undo Last Change

A payroll change may be undone by clicking the Undo Last Change button.

Notes

  1. When moving an employee to a new payroll any one off payments/deductions, timesheets and statutory overrides that match the old period will be moved.
  2. You can only transfer an employee from the current period of the old payroll to the current period of the new payroll.
  3. The date of transfer does not affect which period the employee is transferred to in the new payroll. It only records the date of the change
  4. Any permanent payments or deductions set up against the employee may need to be manually changed after the payroll change has been saved. This will be more likely if the employee has moved to a different pay frequency.
