Creating Projects

Projects can be created to against specific placements and include milestones or phases which can be allocated to each placement included within the project. 

To create a project go to Profiles > Projects > Search Projects or Click Create


Enter a Reference, Description for you to identify the project and select the client which the project relates to. You only only assign one client per project.


Search for placements to include within the project. Only placements linked to the project client can be added to the project. 

Next, you need to add the project milestone and phases. Click on Create Milestone.

Add the milestone name and enter the total pay and total charge for the milestone. Pay and Charge are optional as these may not both apply to the milestone. 

Once you click Create Milestone, the total pay/charge value will be automatically split equally between each project placement. However, you can manually enter the correct value per placement should these differ. You will need to assign a pay element to be used against the milestone pay/charge. TARGET DATE? Do not enter a completed date unless the milestone has already been fulfilled. 

You can add and remove placements within the project if they do not need to be included in this specific milestone. You can create multiple milestones against the project. Click Save once completed. Milestones can added and to a project at any time as and when required, milestones can be amended until they are completed. 

Once the project has been saved, the milestones will automatically be added to the Milestone tab against the relevant Placement profile.  Any changes made to a milestone in the placement profile will be updated against the project.


Adding Milestone to Placements

You can add project milestones directly from the placement profile. Under the Milestones tab, click on Add Milestone and add the required details. Click to save the placement. 

This new milestone will automatically be added to the project for which the placement belongs to.
