September 2020
Release notes
The September release brings in a few changes for clients whom use the new user Interface.
- Back dated Salary changes
- Payroll Validation
Back Dated Salary
You are now able to make changes to the salary line of your employees even after this has been processed in the payroll system in a previous period.
Once logged into the employee’s record, to make a change to their pay, navigate to the Pay > Details tab as shown below.
The salary can be changed multiple times, but you cannot change the effective date once processed. If you need to change this, then a new record will need to be created.
This change also allows you to do the same thing for any allowances and deductions but not in the loans screen.
Payroll Validation
You now have the option to run a payroll validation to check for any errors / issues before submitting the payroll. Please note, this option is only available for Admins users.
To do this, you will now see a submission tab. Once clicked on will show the below.
Once run, you will see any errors that need attending to. There will also be a link on the page to take you direct to that employees account.
Finally, to keep you updated on some smaller changes
- Remember Me - Now you can tick a box to remember your username only
- Add Logo - We've now given you the option to upload Logo's if these have recently changed. Found within the Admin menu
- Allow only one login session per user - This stops you from logging into multiple machines with the same login details.
- Email override Screen. We have now moved this feature to the new UI within the admin Screen, so you no longer need to go back to the old UI. This is used for sending all emails to one address.
- Creating new Pay elements has been moved across to the new UI system and now has some tool tips to aid in the creation of these elements.
