Release notes


The October release brings in some changes and updates for clients whom use the new user Interface.

  • View System emails
  • Leavers included in the time sheet list
  • Expense claims reporting functionality
  • Absence calculation manual entry


View System emails

View system emails found in the “Admin tab” is a very useful tool to see if an email has gone out from People Manager. This would include emails like and password resets amongst other emails. This was not showing the emails in “Date time” order which made it tricky to find certain emails. A fix has now been put into place and sorting by date brings the latest email to the top.  You can use the filter fields to narrow down the search even more.

 


Leavers included in Time sheet list

You now have the option to show leavers with the addition of a new show leavers tick box. When ticked, it will show all leavers. Please note the default is for the box not to be ticked.


 

Expense claims reporting functionality


If you use the expenses module in People Manager, you can now create a new report for expense claims under the reporting tab. Just add in the desired fields you wish to report on. You can find all these under “Employee expenses” along with the ability to filter out any empty claims using the filter data section.


Absence calculation manual entry

When entering absence (except for Sickness) via the Employee -> Absence -> Events screen, the system did not consider previously taken absences when checking the entitlement. This meant the absence would be put into the full pay section even if the days taken will exceed the employee's entitlement. This has now been fixed to consider the past absences.


Finally, to keep you updated on some smaller changes

  • Probation Date override saving issue fixed. Field would not update once saved.
  • Time Sheet Status report fixed. Had data issues running over multiple weeks.
  • Time Sheet employee Selector order is now non case sensitive.
  • Employees Account not loading just showing the three loading dots fixed.
  • Increased digit length on Allowances and Deductions screen.
  • On boarding forms were different for Admins and employees, fixed.
