June 2019

The June release brings two major features for clients using the new user interface.

  • An employee dashboard
  • An updated version of Batches

Employee Dashboard

This release includes a dashboard for managers and administrators.  This feature is only available to clients who are using the new UI.  Please contact the support team or your HR representative if you wish to know more about the new UI.

The dashboard includes a number of items that help you to manage your workforce.   As example of the dashboard is shown below.

The following options will be enabled after the release:

  • People who have an absence in the next 28 days
  • People who have a holiday in the next 28 days
  • Birthdays coming up in the next 14 days
  • People who have left in the last 7 days
  • People who are due to leave in the next 30 days
  • People who will start work in the next 30 days
  • People whose probation period will end in the next 30 days
  • People whose work permit will expire in the next 60 days
  • People whose Bradford factor exceeds 100
  • The staff retention screen

These will be enabled for Administrators only be default.

There are two additional items that can be enabled:

  • An average Bradford factor comparison to a company target
  • A measure of how the average Bradford factor of a manager's employees compared to the average of the company

Changes are made using the Alerts Configuration section of the Administration page (for users with the appropriate permissions).  You will see the following alerts

Edit the desired option to choose whether the option is enabled, who it applies to, and the setting for the number of days.  For example, in the image below, the holiday message is set to show employees who are going on holiday in the next 14 days and it will be available to both Managers and Administrators.

Batches

Batches can now be created in the Employee tree in the new UI.  Right-click on the appropriate folder and click Batch Entry from the menu.

Choose the appropriate payroll, batch and period and click Load.

Then enter the information and click the Save button.
