Link Portal Users

Description

Use this page to link users on another company to employees on the current company, or to link users on this company to employees on this company

This can be useful in the following scenarios:

1. Leaver returns as a new employee and would like to see historical payslips
2. Employee(s) move to a new company (TUPE)
3. Company moves from an XML company to calculated

Usage

1. Select a company to link users with matching employees on the current company
2. Employees are matched on the following criteria
   1. Name
   2. Date of birth
   3. NI Number
3. Select users to link
4. Click Link Selected

When users next login, they will be able to see all payslip portal data for all linked employees.

XML Companies

Users on XML companies may be linked to normal InPay companies. Employees are matched on the following criteria:

1. Name
2. NI Number
3. Email

Unmatched Employees

Clicking the Show Unmatched button will show employees that could not be matched. This could be due to no matching employee being found (Employee Match column) or a match was found but the matched employee doesn't have a Payslip Portal user (Has User column).

FAQ

There are employees with users that have matching details but they are not showing

If you've already checked the details match and users are present, remember that when linking different companies, the employees must be on the current company, the employees with users must be on the selected company (go to the matching company and link the employees from there).

Companies must be on the same customer to be able to link the companies.
