Client Portal v9.2 release notes

We are pleased to confirm that release 9.2 for RSM’s Client Portal will be available to you on Saturday 9th September.

Within this release, improvements have been made to the Message Centre. Please note that these improvements will only be present on any payroll set up with individual RSM contacts. Payrolls allocated to a processing team will continue with messages sent to all members of that team.

Recipient dropdown option

You can now select a recipient from the dropdown options when creating a new message or replying to an existing message by clicking on the dropdown in the recipient field.

The recipient dropdown lists payroll executives and team leaders connected to the service and are marked as such within brackets. (Payroll Executive) (Team Leader) or any client contacts with (Payment Approver) next to the associated client contact.

RSM Contact Out of Office Settings

Your RSM contact, or their Line Manager will now have the option to set an Out of Office (OOO) notification to advise of absence and to select a delegate to receive notifications during this period. In the recipient list, the contact will have ‘[Out of Office]’ displayed next to their name and if selected, the OOO message will be displayed providing the period of absence.

Any messages sent to a contact marked as ‘[Out of Office]’ will be received by the assigned RSM delegate for that contact. All notifications for documents uploaded to the portal will also be received by the assigned RSM delegate.

Private option for messages

We have provided a tick box to mark a message as private. When a recipient is selected a tick box option will appear, if ticked no other users will be able to see the message. This message trail will be marked as private in the history and the message preview pane.  Please note: do not tick this if your message is time critical.

History of recipients within message trail

Previously the message history only showed defaults. Now users will be able to see who is dealing with their query even if the message has been assigned to another user. This history will have details of the recipient of the message, even if a previous message in the conversation was sent to “Default”.
