People Manager Release September 2024

Introduction

We are pleased to confirm the September 2024 release of People Manager. This will be available to you on September 09, 2024.

New Feature Details

Ability to assign specific admin options to access groups

You can assign specific administration options to individual access groups under admin tab of security access group.

Please note that this feature is only available to RSM users and users with set admin access privileges. This feature is not available to the default admin user.

To implement this feature, go to security access group available under admin security section. You can either edit an existing group or create a new one.
In Step 2, select the admin tab check box. You can choose which of the administration options people with this role have. Tick the box next to the appropriate feature to enable it for this role. You can click on the enable column heading to select or de-select all the options.

Ability to edit custom email templates

You can now edit custom email templates for scenarios such as activation, new password, recruitment, and so on.
To edit email templates, go to email templates under admin -> system section.

Select the required template, and make required changes to the subject or email template text.

Enhancement Details

New search filter on pay periods screen

We have introduced a new search filter on the pay periods screen.

To use the new filter, go to the pay periods screen under admin payroll section.

Making first name and surname as mandatory fields

First name and surname for dependents have now been made as mandatory fields.

Notable Fixes

Following issues have been fixed in the release:

  • New changes were not getting saved under MyHR - Expression of Wish.

  • Newly synchronized employees from InPay were not able to view payslips

  • Payroll name mismatch between InPay and People Manager due to case sensitivity.
