Payroll Task Dashboard
The Payroll Task Dashboard gives payroll users an overview of outstanding and completed tasks for the payroll services they manage.
If you are an RSM user and have access to any payroll services that are linked to an InPay payroll, the Task Dashboard will be available to you.
Accessing the Task Dashboard
To access the dashboard select Payroll Task Dashboard from the Utilities menu.
Altrenatively you can set it as your home screen option and access it from the home icon Account Settings page.

On the task dashboard you can see the completed and outstanding tasks for all the InPay payroll services you have access to on the Client Portal.
When you open the dashboard it will show you all the tasks for the current month.
You can choose to filter to a specific client, view only payroll swith outstanding tasks or warnings or change the month you are viewing.
Task Dates and Statuses
If the task has not yet been completed it will be displayed as a solid coloured button.
Completed tasks show a tick and display when the task was completed, and who completed it.
Hovering the mouse over a completed task will show the date and time the task was due and the date and time it was completed as a tooltip.
Due dates and completed dates use a traffic light system, with the colour indicating the status of the task.

Completing Tasks
To mark a task as completed click on the task button for an outstanding task. A popup window will open.
By default this will be populated with the current date and your name in the Completed by field. If you would like to, you can edit the name or enter a comment. To mark the task as complete click on the SAVE button.
If you added a comment, a coloured triangle will show in the top left corner of the task. Hovering the mouse over the corner will display the comment as a tooltip.
Viewing the Management Report
If you are an admin user for your office, you will be able to view all tasks for your office as a management report. This is a readonly view and includes all payroll services in your office, not just the ones you specifically manage.
To open the report click on the VIEW MANAGEMENT REPORT button at the top of the Task Dashboard.
The report can be filtered by client, pay date, task or status and can be exported to Excel.
