New features details

Multi-factor authentication

MFA is a two-step process. You will log in to People Manager as normal, and then required to enter a one-time password. This password is generated by a mobile application authenticator. These can be downloaded via app stores, the most common ones are google authenticator and microsoft authenticator. When you go into your app, you will be given a one-time password (which is time sensitive) to enter into the client portal login screen. This adds an additional layer of security to your data and login details, based on a password that only you know, and a one-time password on a device that only you have. Go to multi-factor authentication for further information.

Prevent overbooking

We have added an additional column within workflow settings, called prevent overbooking. If this option is ticked, an employee will not be able to overbook the absence type outside of the entitlement. Please contact support if you cannot see this option within your system and would like it enabled.

Inactive option on manage lookups

We have added a new inactive tick box within certain manage lookup fields. If this is ticked, the values will not appear under employee dropdowns for selection. All historical records will still show the original value.

The inactive box is available on the following look up options: bonus, allowances, deduction, department, division, region, location, team, absence reasons, ethnicity, & loans.

When you go into the lookup detail, tick the inactive box, and click save.

You will see an inactive column, and a Y in the column for any lookups that have been made inactive.

Improvement details

Employee name on calendar request emails

You may have noticed the employee's name was not being shown within the body of an email sent from People Manager, regarding calendar requests. This will now work as expected.
