This January release brings in some changes and updates.

Reporting Suite

Just to make you aware PeopleManager has a new Reporting Suite. Although mostly cosmetic, the new reports run faster, and we now use a drop and drag process to make it easier to create your reports.


You will also notice that we have system generated reports which are marked with a pad lock. Those without the pad locks are editable.

Please get in contact with us to schedule in your free upgrade and if you have any questions. (Please note, your old reports will still be available in the new version)
 

Data Import

You also can Import Data into PeopleManager. This is particularly useful for such instances like a Salary Increase or Bonus’s.

Login Screen

Later this month the PeopleManager “login screen” will be changing very slightly and I wanted to inform you of the changes coming.  

(Please note, your personal URL and Logo will remain as is. This is purely the way it looks and acts.)

The new login screen will ask you for your username as shown below and when you click continue, you will be prompted for your Password.


     


It has been designed this way for a bigger change to come which will be called single sign on (SSO) SSO will authenticate with your windows domain server and you will not need to put in a password. Just you’re username. I will advise closer to the time when this is made available. For now, the changes are above.



WorkPlan Updates

You can now create a work plan that start at 00:00 (Midnight) or spans over the hours in two days. I.e. Starting 19:00 on Monday and finishing 0700 on Tuesday. This is what it should look like


 Please note that if you book holiday for this time, they will appear on the calendar like the below.


     


Finally, to keep you updated on some smaller changes

  • Timesheets now allow more than one absence entry per day.
  • Document uploads are now restricted to 50Mb in size.
  • Improvements when downloading data into excel.
  • A new option has been added to the entitlement screen for schemes based on service length. You now have the option to either pro-rata or give the full entitlement.
