Timesheets
Timesheets is an additional module within People Manager, if you do not have this and wish to have it enabled please speak to support.
This can be set up with employees entering timesheets and managers approving timesheets. Within your admin configuration you have the ability to set up timesheet reminders and timesheet groups to assign to employees.
As an admin you will also have the ability to update timesheet data or unlock a timesheet that has been incorrectly submitted.
Updating a timesheet
You can use the week commencing date field and the employee dropdown to choose the required timesheet.
You will have the ability to change the rate within the dropdown and any time entered, if there are any subsequent dropdowns like client or location you will be able to change these as well.
You will not be able to add or remove a rate, you can only amend information that has already been entered.
At the bottom of the screen click update. You will be reminded that the timesheet has been submitted and approved and if you are sure you wish to proceed, click ok.
Unlocking a timesheet
If a timesheet has been approved incorrectly, or the employee requires to add additional lines to the timesheet, you can unlock the timesheet and revert it back to draft status for the employee to make the required changes.
Click on the unlock timesheet button, you will be asked if you are sure, click ok. The timesheet status will then change to not submitted allowing the employee to go in and make the required changes.
Please note: the employee will not be told that a timesheet has been unlocked for resubmittal.
