New Feature Details
New search filter for timesheet bulk entry screen
We have introduced a new search filter for the timesheets bulk entry screen that allows users to search for placements by client site. The search is case-insensitive and matches partial terms. For example, "es" will match a placement with a client site named "TEST."
New on-cost type in on-cost configuration
We have added a new on-cost type amount per day to the on-cost configuration. When you select this option, it will add or deduct the on-cost amount for each day of the timesheet or for each receipt date of the expense claim.
Please note that the on-cost functionality is part of our advanced billing module. If you would like to know more about the advanced billing module, please contact our account management team.
New Bacs format
We’ve developed new XML Bacs formats, FB-BBAN and FB-IBAN. To see samples of these and all the other Bacs formats we have available, go to what payment (Bacs) formats are available?
Enhancement Details
Margin reports
Custom text fields for shift introduced in margin reports
If you have set up the custom text fields for shift under the system configuration cog > appearance > entity custom fields screen, you can now see them in margin reports.
To view these fields, ensure that the output by field is selected as shift/expense item.
Persisting values on change status
When a timesheet status is changed manually using the change status button, the split commission values and the placement financial changes are now persisted against the sheet. This is reflected in the margin report according to the stored timesheet/expense properties settings.
Holiday claim
Holiday year on the holiday claim form
We have added a new field called holiday year on the holiday claim form.
Note that the holiday year value is based on the holiday year start date and use employee effective date configuration under InPay > holiday schemes.
Ability to add custom text on the holiday claim form
You can now add custom text on the holiday claim form. To add the custom text, go to the system configuration cog → custom text → entry screens section. Select the newly added holiday claim form entry.
Enter the custom text in the editor and click save template.
The custom text appears on the holiday claim form as shown below:
Improved validation on holiday claims
We have improved the validation checks while submitting the holiday claims.
When the InPay export configuration include the worker's unexported holiday when calculating whether a holiday claim is valid is enabled, a validation error occurred because the current claim was counted twice. This issue is now fixed, and the validation only includes the current claim once.
Email notifications on timesheet export failure
Currently, RSM InTime sends notifications and emails upon successful export of timesheets to InPay, but only sends notifications on export failures. This has been enhanced and now RSM InTime will send both emails and notifications on export failure.
Ability to move exported timesheets
You can now move exported timesheets from one placement to another. The system previously allowed only approved timesheets to be moved. Please note that the worker must be the same for both placements. For more information, refer to move placements.
Improvements to email processing
We have improved the email processing related to workers sending paper-entry timesheets to RSM InTime. Successful timesheets are moved to the processed folder, while failed ones now go to the failed folder in the configured email account.
Improvements to public holiday calendar
You can now select system-generated public holiday calendars like ENG and SCT on the placement screen.
Additionally, the default agency holiday calendar chosen in public holidays will be the preselected option for placements. You can change the option, if required.
