The Timesheet tab determines how the worker will enter their timesheet details, and how the timesheet will be approved.

The fields on this screen are described in the following table:

Timesheet Duration

This field determines whether the timesheet is weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
There are often additional options that allow you to specify, for example, that the working week for the placement ends on a Sunday or ends on a Saturday. Other options can be added.
Note: This field cannot be changed once time has been submitted against a placement. If you need to have a different value, you should create a new placement and terminate the existing one.

Contracted Hours Per Week

This value is used for forecasting purposes only.
If this value is set to 40, then the forecast report will assume that 40 hours on the standard rate will be booked each week.

Timesheet Pay Currency

Time raised on this placement will be billed in this currency. If you wish to use the client's default currency, tick the Use Default checkbox, otherwise select the relevant entry from the list.

Other currencies can be configured for clients who have our multi-currency module. Information about adding new currencies can be found in the Exchange Rates section.

Overtime Rules

Select the overtime rules that will apply to this placement.

Timesheet Layout

This is applicable for monthly timesheets. Select the Calendar view if preferred.

Round time to nearest (minutes)

This field allows you to round the time entered to a certain number of minutes. For example, if this field contains the value 15 then the times entered will be rounded to the nearest quarter of an hour.
The default value is 1, but this can be changed if required.

Holiday Calendar

The holiday calendar allows you to configure which days are public holidays. This is used if your agency uses time patterns & filters and you have a rule to change the rate automatically for shifts worked on a public holiday

Time Zone

The selected time zone is used to calculate the duration of overnight shifts during daylight savings changes.

Approval

Timesheet

The approval route that timesheets submitted against this placement will go through.

Email Approval

If Yes is selected, the approver can reply to authorisation email to authorise timesheets without the need to log in to InTime. The default setting can be overridden by deselecting the Use Default checkbox.

QR Approval

Select this option if paper timesheets will be scanned and faxed or emailed to InTime. The default setting can be overridden by deselecting the Use Default checkbox.
