InTime administrators can fill in timesheets on behalf of a workers.
In order to fill in a timesheet for a worker, you must first enable bulk entry for the specific placement.
Note: You should only enable bulk entry on the placement if, as an administrator, you intend to fill in the timesheet for the worker. If you leave the Bulk Entry box checked, then the worker won’t be notified that he or she needs to fill in his or her timesheet.
How do I fill in a timesheet for a worker?
- From the menu bar, click Profiles > Placements, and search for the worker's placement.
- View the placement, and on the general tab, select Bulk entry enabled:
Save the placement.
From the menu bar, click Timesheets > Bulk Entry.
On the Bulk Entry Client screen, enter the name of the client that is relevant to the placement, and click OK. #zzz Shouldn’t you just be able to search for the placement directly here?#
On the Timesheets tab, in the Date Period Range sub-tab, set the Start Date and Finish Date for the period that you want to enter timesheets for, and click Change Period.
Click Add.
In the Placement field, enter the placement name that you want to enter the timesheet for:
In the Rate field, select the applicable rate for the worker.
The Job Title and Worker fields will be prepopulaed with the appropriate information from the placement.In the individual date fields, fill in the timesheet for the worker.
You can click Save as Draft as you progress.To enter expense claims, click the Expenses tab; then enter the placement details as before, and the appropriate expense claim information.
Tip: You can use the fields in the Prepopulation Options and Sorting Options sub-tabs to help you fill in the information for timesheets and expenses.When you have finished entering the timesheet and/or expense claims, click Next.
The Summary Of Bulk Entered Timesheets screen displays a summary of the information that you have entered.In the Paper Upload field, click Choose File to select any supporting documentation from your computer.

Note: Don’t forget to disable the bulk entry setting for the placement when you have finished.
