Usage
- Scheme Type - Select the type of absence that you would like to set up. The following are available
- Maternity
- Adoption
- Paternity (adoption)
- Paternity (birth)
- Shared Paternity (adoption)
- Shared Paternity (birth)
- Scheme Name - The name of the current scheme
- Effective Date - The date at which the scheme takes effect.
- Top Up Salary - Check this to pay an employee OMP in line with their ordinary salary.
Service Bands - This is where you specify what pay employees will receive based on the length of their employment.
- Service Months - The number of months an employee has worked.
- Weeks - The number of weeks an employee is entitled to in each band.
- % Paid - The percentage of the employees salary that they will receive while on leave.
- Add Statutory pay - Check this if the employee is to receive statutory pay in addition to occupational pay.
Paternity (birth) and paternity (adoption) only have 2 bands where as the other options will all have 4.
What if I edit a scheme?
When a scheme is modified, any employees who have an absence of the scheme type that starts after the effective date will automatically be recalculated.
