Accessing the Message Centre
To access the Message Centre select Message Centre from the Utilities menu.
Searching and Filtering Messages
Message chains are shown in the list on the left-hand side of the page. You can filter to a specific service or status, show only messages for a specific date range or search the message content and details for particular keywords.
All open messages are shown by default. Selecting MY MESSAGES will filter to only show message chains which you have been involved in, either as the originator or by sending a reply.
When you select a message in the list on the left the message details and history are displayed in the pane on the right of the page.
Replying to a Message
To reply to a message use the form below the message history. Some basic formatting options are available to format your reply. A signature is added by default, made up of your name, email address and any contact details you have entered in the Account Settings page. You can also create a custom message signature in Account Settings to be used instead.
Select a new status for the message chain. By default this will be set to 'With RSM'. This indicates that you expect your RSM contacts to action something or reply to your enquiry.
Once you have entered your reply, click on the SEND button. Your RSM contacts will be notified by email that you have replied to the message.
Creating a New Message
To create a new message click on the NEW MESSAGE button at the top right of the Message Centre page. The New Message form is displayed.
First, select the service the message relates to. If you only have access to one service this will be selected by default.
Once you have selected the service, the periods and message types appropriate for that service will be displayed in the lists. Select the period and message type that are relevant for your message.
Next, enter a subject for your message. The subject will be displayed in the message list to identify this message chain.
Finally, enter the details of you query in the Message field. Some basic formatting options are available to format your message. You can also create a custom message signature in Account Settings to be used instead.
When you have entered all the details click on the CREATE NEW MESSAGE button. You will be returned to main Message Centre page with your new message selected. Your RSM contacts will be notified by email that you have added a new message.
