Within this section you can set up the system to generate and send reports to the users you have selected. You can create a schedule for any report you have built within People Manager, prebuilt reports with padlocks against cannot have a schedule set against them. Go to reports to find out more on how to create your own reports.
Click on admin in your top menu bar and within the report section click on report scheduler. You can then click on an existing schedule to amend or click add to create a new one.
Creating a new schedule
Using the dropdowns select a report you will to set a schedule for. You can then choose a day of the week, or alternatively pick a date, this will then generate of the date each month (the date only goes up to the short month, so you can choose between 1 - 28). When you select either day or date the other option will become greyed out. You can select a password to protect the report.
You will then have the option to enter email addresses for recipients of the report, or to select employees from a list, only employees with an email address in the contract - organisation tab will show in the list. To choose employees simply click on the name and drag them into the righthand column. Please note: If you are typing in email addresses the report will send all details irrespective of their security group. If you use the by employee option, the report will only show entries that the user has access to.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, to save or set parameters. If the report you have chosen has parameters set up, you can set these within the scheduler. For example, if it is an absence report that when normally run requires a particular absence to be chosen, the set parameters button will be available for you to select and choose the parameter for the scheduling. When you have finished click save.
Editing an existing report
To edit a report schedule, click on the name of the schedule you have set up, the panel will open on the righthand side. Make the changes you require, and then scroll to the bottom of the screen. Either click save to save the new changes, or click delete if you wish to remove the schedule entirely.
