Qualifying weeks
The AWR qualifying weeks are calculated based on a rolling weekly window that started on the date the AWR regulations came into effect: 1st October 2011. So these weekly windows run Saturday to Friday.
AWR qualifying weeks are NOT based on the InTime timesheet period. This is because InTime Timesheets can start on any week day and can be weekly, two-weekly, four-weekly or monthly in duration.
To accumulate an AWR qualifying week there needs to be a worked Shift within a given AWR week.
Therefore 2 weekly timesheets do not necessarily equate to 2 qualifying weeks.
If there are only shifts on Saturday or Sunday on one Timesheet, and only shifts on Monday to Friday on the subsequent timesheet, it would only result in 1 qualifying week for AWR.
By the same rational a single timesheet can result in two qualifying weeks if it has worked shifts on Monday to Friday AND on Saturday or Sunday.
