This feature enables rates to become effective (Active) on a certain date. It also allows you to change the pay or charge amount of a particular rate over time. Please contact InTime support if you require this feature.
Effective Rates are identified by a unique name. If there is more than one rate with the same name shown on the placement screen they are treated as one rate that changes over time. The one that is currently active is determined by the Effective From date. A rate is active until it is superseded by another rate of the same name with a more recent Effective From date. If the Effective From date is empty it is effective from the start of the placement. If this feature is not enabled all rates that exist on the placement are always active.
