Every InTIME system needs to be secured with an SSL certificate for security purposes, the support team at RSM would have previously needed to provide a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) to you so that an SSL could be ordered. We have now added functionality to the system to allow you to start and complete the SSL order process via the InTIME system. You will now see a new option within Administration > System Configuration > SSL Configuration

You will then see the following screen:

You will see instructions on the right hand side of the screen which details the steps to complete the order, however the areas are outlined below that require your attention:

  1. Your Current CSR - If this is the first time using this functionality then this field will be empty, in order to generate the CSR please follow point 2 below
  2. Generate a New CSR - Some fields here will require some information regarding your agency, please note the information entered here will need to match the information that your domain has, this will be checked when ordering the certificate
  • Site - This will display the URL of your domain, please make sure that this is correct, if there are any problems with this then please contact the support team
  • Country Code - Please enter the country code where your agency resides
  • County - Please enter the county where your agency resides
  • Town/City - Please enter the town or city where your agency resides
  • Company - Please enter your company name
  • Unit - Please enter a unit for your agency if applicable
  • Update CSR - Click this button when all the information has been entered and you will then see the CSR detail in the field detailed in point 1 above

      3. When you have received the certificate back from your SSL provider then it will need to be copied and pasted to the Upload New Certificate box, you will also need to copy and paste the SSL providers Intermediate certificate to the entry box underneath. If the detail is correct and the                   certificates match, this will be confirmed with a Green tick.

      4. Once the above has been complete then please inform the support team of the completion by emailing - support@in-time.co.uk, they will then confirm completion of the installation and confirm when the certificate is live
