Usage
SSP Schedules are used to define the normal working days for your employees for the purposes of paying Statutory Sick Pay. SSP Schedules are used by InPay Payroll to calculate the days when Statutory Sick Pay is payable. It is sometimes asked why employees require both a Work schedule and an SSP schedule. It is due to the fact that although in 99% of cases they are the same, on odd occasions they can differ and it is to cater for these such occasions.
Adding an SSP Schedule
Type in the SSP Schedule start date in the Start Date field, and select a Schedule from the drop down. The schedule pattern will be displayed to the right of the data entry fields. Press save to commit to the database.
Editing an SSP Schedule
Select the SSP Schedule from the Schedule History Grid. Make any changes required. If a new Work schedule is selected, the schedule pattern will be displayed to the right of the data entry fields. Press save to commit to the database.
Deleting an SSP Schedule
Select a Work Schedule from the Schedule History Grid and press Delete.
Overriding an SSP Schedule
You can override the standard SSP schedule by checking the Override Standard Schedule checkbox, and selecting the days you want to include in the SSP pattern..
Here you also have the option of making it a multi week schedule. This function works the same as on Company > Company SSP Schedules screen.
Press save to commit the changes to the database.
