Agencies who have a front-office system would typically apply changes to a contractor's details through the front-office system. These changes would then be sent to RSM InTime to update RSM InTime with the same data.
RSM InTime can be configured so that a contractor can request that a changes change is made to their details rather than applying the change directly to the contractor's record. The request is held on in a holding area and is not applied to that contractor's profile until it is accepted or rejected. A contractor cannot change his/her details if there is an un-actioned request for that contractor.
When using this option, you must ensure you have the tasks dashboard widget enabled. On you Agency Dashboard you . Go to Configuration > Appearance > Dashboard Settings.
In the Status section of your Agency Dashboard you will see a Changes To Approve notification when a contractor has submitted a change to his/her details as shown below:
Here it can be seen that there are two pending changes.
When you click on the red box you will be taken to the
Click on Changes To Approve. The list of un-actioned changes as shown belowwill be displayed:
Click on the review link the Reviewbutton to see the change that has been requested by the contractor. The image below shows that the contractor has asked for his address her bank details to be updated.
You may now either
- Approve the changes. The update will now be made to the contractor's record. Remember that if you have a front-office system you should ensure that the change is made their there too.
- Reject the changes. If you reject a change then you will be asked for a reason. The contractor will see a notification when he next logs in to RSM InTime. This will notify them that there their change has been rejected along with the reason.
