When you enter timesheet data using this method, the timesheet will automatically be submitted and follow the approval route that has been set for the placemenplacement.
Add data to existing timesheets
Typically, you will use this method to submit complete timesheets. However, you can also use this method to enter data in timesheets that have already been submitted.

- From the menu bar, click Batch>Import Timesheet.
- From the Format list, and select Standardthe format.
Ensure that the format of your spreadsheet data adheres to the Standard import format. If you require a specific import format to be configured for you, please contact the RSM ESL support team (although please note that you may be charged for the configuration of a bespoke import format). - Copy and paste your spreadsheet data into the form:
- If you are adding data to an existing timesheet, select Add data to existing timesheets.
Note the on-screen warning that this will add data to a timesheet even if the data is duplicated. - Click Upload.
You are then given the opportunity to review the imported data. - If you need to change any of the fields that you imported (placement, rate, date, unit and comment), click the cell and amend the entry. If you want to change the placement or worker name, begin typing the name of the placement or worker and InTime will offer auto-completion suggestions. If the imported data does not match the import format, the cell displays the '
undefined
' message. You can amend the cells accordingly, or return to the import screen by clicking Start Again, amending your imported data, and trying again. - If your data has been imported correctly, click Submit.
- A message asks you to confirm that you want to submit the data. Click OK and the import process begins.
A message appears when the import process has been completed successfully.
