An umbrella company is a company that acts as an employer, on behalf of a worker/contractor.
Umbrella Companies can be created in InTime and Limited Company Contractors can be assigned to Umbrella Companies. Please note that these companies are also referred to as Providers in InTime.
When you create a worker, you can specify if that worker is associated with a Ltd company provider.
You can import umbrella company details from an external system, or you can create them directly in InTime. For more information, see Maintaining Umbrella Companies.
