Role options

Please refer to the below table to understand what each role permission stands for:

Role permission

Description

Role permission

Description

Create

Allows user to create items or profiles within RSM InTime. The availability of this functionality can be dependent on the role template assigned to a user. For instance, a user may have permissions to create timesheets within their role; however, if the create timesheet menu option is not available in the assigned role template, they will be unable to create timesheets.

Write

Allows users to update profiles and items within the system. This permission is intended to be used alongside the create role function. Regarding timesheets and expenses, users with only the write role assigned will be limited to updating items associated with a placement to which they are assigned.

Write all

Allows users to update any profiles and items within the system. This permission is intended to be used alongside the create role function. In the case of timesheets and expenses, if the write all role is activated, users can create entries for any placements, irrespective of their assignment.

Note that when the write all role is enabled, it is not necessary to select the write role as well.

Read

Allows user to search and view items/profiles only for which they are assigned to. For example, a consultant with read only against placements will only be able to view placements which they are assigned to.

Read all

Allows user to search and view all items/profiles, in search screens regardless of any assignments.

Adv Read

Only available to workers

Adv Write

Switch

Allows user to switch to another type of the user. This option is only relevant for administrator and consultants.
