3. Pay Elements

Navigation: Company menu --> Pay Elements screen

In order to report an employee’s enrolment status the system requires information on which pay elements to use in the calculation of the employee’s earnings against the earnings threshold. As this may differ from NI'able or Taxable pay the field named Qualifying Earnings has been included in the Pay Elements screen.

The enrolment status of an employee is calculated on the pay against elements marked as qualifying earnings.
